DOCROUNDUP GUIDE
How AI document checks work
When enabled, AI compares an uploaded document with the requirement title and instructions and suggests what may need a closer look. You preview the file and decide whether to accept it or request a replacement.
Go to the steps ↓Your client uploads the requested documents.
Make the request specific
Use a clear document title and instructions. If you need a particular month or period, include it in the request. For example, ask for a complete bank statement for August 2026 rather than simply asking for a file.
Read the result
Use the suggestion to decide what to inspect, then preview the document yourself. A suggestion does not prove authenticity or accuracy, and AI never accepts an item for you.
| Suggestion | What to do |
|---|---|
| Appears to match | No obvious mismatch was found. Preview the document and check that it meets your request before accepting it. |
| Possible mismatch | Check the highlighted reason, such as a different document type or period. Request a replacement only after reviewing the file. |
| Inconclusive | The check could not establish a reliable result. Review the document manually. |
If a check is still running, unavailable or your allowance is exhausted, you can still review permitted uploads yourself. The limits and data-handling details are below.

Make the final decision
Preview the document yourself. Accept the item if it meets your request, or choose Request replacement and explain what the client should correct. A submitted file remains awaiting review until you make that decision.

Know the limits
Checks depend on the workspace’s settings and monthly allowance. Supported AI checks are limited to 8 MB and 20 PDF pages per document, with additional processing safeguards. If a check is unavailable or the allowance is exhausted, you can still review permitted uploads yourself. Enabled checks send document contents to the configured AI provider; see the privacy notice for data handling.
